Terry Preece : Lead Vocals, Keyboards, Guitar, Percussion.
Terry started piano lessons at only 8 years of age. Becoming competent he achieved grade 6 very quickly. This early start gave him a natural flair and passion for music.
His early Influences were the in-depth arrangements of Jean Michel Jarre. Who is highly regarded as one of the pioneers in the Electronic and New Age music genres. He has a great appreciation and love of all music “especially songs with Interesting Chord Structures”
Terry joined his Dad (Reg) in Midnite at the age of 18. Playing up & down the U.K. initially playing Keyboards & providing harmony backing vocals. Then eventually progressing to lead vocals as his technique developed.
While also running a live Music Venue in Warwickshire he became heavily involved in booking, promoting and talent spotting, new and established acts. From organising weekly Jam Sessions to showcasing a wealth of varying music styles from Rock to Reggae, Country to Classic & Obvious to Obscure
Terry organised a major charity James Bond Theme evening for the Warwickshire Air Ambulance performing at Rugby’s Civic centre “Benn Hall” for civil dignitaries, raising thousands of pounds. Midnite have continued to perform in aid of Warwickshire Air Ambulance Foundation, as it is now our chosen Charity.
Terry’s charismatic personality and vocal ability have made him popular with audiences of all ages. During his time with Midnite he has had the opportunity to work with, and learn from, some fantastic musicians who have helped him to develop into an all round entertainer and he now is a multi-instrumentalist, playing keyboards, guitar, bass, drums and Vocals!

Danny Gregory : Guitar, Vocals.
Danny started playing in a live band from the tender age of 16, The band was called Hi-way and the Drummer was the one & only Reg Preece.(See below)
Later Danny joined forces with “Parade”, one of Coventry’s premier club acts & worked up & down the Country at many venues. He turned fully professional in 1994 after forming The Band “Believe” and toured extensively throughout the UK at Nightclubs, Hotels, Casinos, Ships, Holiday Camps, RAF & Army bases etc.
While on a P&O contract on-board M.V. Norsea the band appeared in an ITV documentary “Ferry” covering the aspects of living and working on-board as a live Act.
Believe then worked throughout Europe & The Middle East at popular Venues & 5 star hotels. Such as The Famous Spanish Golf & Football Training resort of “La Manga” playing to the Rich & Famous: Sir Lord Sterling, Bobby Robson, Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker, Piers Morgan, Jeff Goldbloom, Hale & Pace, Tom Jones and the Spanish National Football team to name but a few!.
Over the years Danny has appeared with Jimi James & the Vagabonds, The Ivy League, The Drifters, The Foremost, The Brother hood of Man, & Cannon & Ball
Experienced in Music Technology & Sound Engineering, both Live and in a studio environment. Danny has played Guitar since the age of 12. Self taught, but can boast guitar lessons in his teenage years from Roddy Radiation from “The Specials” at Coventry Musical Workshop.

Daz Webster : Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals.
Daz’s musical journey started with a keen interest in music trivia & pop quizzes and as a result of this he decided to teach himself how to play.
Now with over 25 years experience playing Bass and Keyboards. Daz has covered just about every different musical style from Folk to Funk.
He joined his first band “Raffles” in 1983. After getting a taste for the entertainment world he decided to incorporate his sense of fun with his rapidly improving musical ability and joined forces with a comedy show band “Peanuts”.
Daz also worked for a brief spell with members of the 80’s band “King” and also joined forces with “The Players” as a keyboard player.
More recently he collaborated with some fellow musicians and worked at venues across Warwickshire and the Midlands in the band “Ten Tall men”. Playing both Bass & Keyboards covering famous songs from the 70’s through to modern Brit Pop, Funk & Rock.
Then Daz met up and joined forces with the boys from Midnite. These days you can see him playing Bass and using his high end vocal harmonies to enhance the bands party sound.
Daz’s major musical Influences are John Holmes, Stanley Clark, Mark King & Norman Watt-Roy from the Blockheads.

Reg Preece: Drums, Percussion, Vocals.
Reg has played Drums since the early sixties. He started in the school orchestra playing Drums Percussion & Timpani. He was in the first band to play live at the new Coventry Cathedral. In his early teens Reg started playing with his first band "The Everbeats" around the local circuit. Following in the footsteps of his favourite acts of the day such as The Beatles, The Stones & The Hollies and developing his craft by studying his early musical heroes: Buddy Rich & Ringo Starr.
Roy Bartlett Drummer with Famous local act "Patsy Powell & The Honky-tonk Playboys" was also a major influence on Reg and gave him personal lessons.
During the 70's Reg worked the in thriving club circuit at countless venues around the the UK and also embarked tours of Germany.
Reg’s was very well known around the Coventry music scene. From recording at Coventry's legendary Horizon Studios to working with some of the great acts of the time. Taking over from Bob Brolly as Drummer enabling Bob to become an extremely popular Vocalist in the Irish country scene.
While working with a local under privileged children’s charity. Reg’s band took part in a TV documentary called "Open Door". That encouraged young people to play instruments and make music.
Reg joined Danny in the band “Hi-way” during the early 80’s and fast became a successful, sought after act .
Not only is he Terry’s Dad but a real Father figure to the rest of the band. By sharing his considerable knowledge and experience he has created a stable line up and nurtured a true family atmosphere that has enabled him to become a true Ambassador promoting Midnite’s friendly, helpful stance when dealing with our clients..
His philosophy as a genuine, honest, and hard working Musician is simply to always play well and create a performance that will please any audience.
